The construction of a major river crossing in Boplan, Paix Bouche, is over 70% complete, aiming to provide improved and safer access for farmers in the area.
According to Parliamentary Representative Hon. Roselyn Paul, the bridge offers a solution to the challenges faced by farmers and landowners due to heavy rainfalls. In addition to the bridge, a few hundred meters of roadway will be constructed.
The project, contracted to Sonny's Construction, is expected to be completed by July 1, 2022. The contractor is working to complete the project within the given time frame, especially considering the ongoing hurricane season.
